American University in the Emirates (AUE), established in 2006, is a premier private, non-profit higher education institution located in Dubai International Academic City. AUE is licensed by the UAE Ministry of Education and is internationally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The university is organized into seven specialized colleges: Business Administration, Design, Education, Engineering and Technology, Law, Media and Mass Communication, and Security and Global Studies.
