Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) is the only dedicated performing arts conservatoire in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, offering intensive, practice-based training taught in English. It offers full-time Bachelor of Arts degrees in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Production Arts, alongside the Trinity Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance, leading to international qualifications. The academy is purpose-built and features a 432-seat theatre, two fully equipped studio performance spaces, TV/recording studios, and twelve sprung rehearsal studios, focusing on practical application. Established by the Ruler of Sharjah, SPAA is a key part of Sharjah's commitment to cultural and artistic development, aligning with the Emirate’s reputation as a hub for arts and culture. Its location within Sharjah's University City places it in a vibrant community with over 15 other higher education institutions and a diverse student population, fostering growth and collaboration.
